1 part Sipsmith® London Dry gin. 3 parts chilled, quality tonic water. Wedge or twist of fresh lime. To craft the perfect G&T at home, simply fill a highball glass up to the top with ice cubes (a pre-chilled glass is an added bonus). STEP 1: INFUSION. It all starts with our precise blend of botanicals – cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, juniper, and two kinds of orange peel. The botanicals are suspended in a neutral grain spirit for 18 hours in macerating tanks.
1 egg white or vegan alternative. Raspberry, to garnish. Add all the ingredients (barring the garnish) to an empty cocktail shaker. Seal, and dry-shake (without ice) to emulsify. Open the shaker, add ice, and shake again. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass, and garnish with a raspberry.
This gin is really my cup of “Gin” , made myself just thinking about my favorite gin “Gin Mare”. I served this also with a mediterranean fever tree tonic to give that extra touch of “mediterranean feeling”, really perfect in this gin. Garnished it then obviously with a slice of lemon, a sprig of rosemary and a few juniper berries.
